Although Barbara Dobbins is classed as a peach water lily, its colouration varies quite a bit depending on the season and the amount of sunlight it receives. The first flowers of each season are usually more yellow with pink at their base. Then, as the season progresses, the amount of pink increases resulting in a beautiful peach effect. On top of this, the flowers are also held well above the water.  Barbara Dobbins Waterlily is a perennial plants that was hybridized by Kirk Strawn in 1996.
