Family Medicine – OSU Family Medicine physicians are dedicated to treating the whole person and providing ongoing and comprehensive medical care, health maintenance and preventive services for patients of all ages from newborns to seniors. Services include routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunization, screening tests and personalized health counseling. Family physicians also manage chronic illnesses such as heart disease, hypertension and diabetes, and often coordinate care with other specialists for more serious conditions such as cancer and stroke.
Sports Medicine – From preventing and treating concussions to treating musculoskeletal complaints, sports medicine providers help athletes and individuals assess risks and maintain active lifestyles. Where most clinics might have to refer a patient to an orthopedic specialists, at OSU Medicine patients can be treated at their regular clinic.
