Paperless Billing Notice

Effective September 1, 2023, patients of OSU Medicine Clinics who have a MyChart account will receive electronic statements directly in MyChart. To continue receiving paper statements, sign in to your MyChart account and update your communications preferences or call OSU Medicine Clinic Financial Services at 918-561-5701.

Resuming paper statements is easy. You will need to opt out of paperless statements which can be done on the MyChart mobile app or MyChart via the web by selecting the Billing tab, Billing Account Summary then click the hyperlink “cancel paperless billing”.

If you have an outstanding balance that is 30 days past due, OSU Medicine will contact you by mail and alert you about your balance due. Several notifications will be mailed to ensure that you have seen the bill.

For anyone who is the guarantor of a MyChart account, both hospital and physician bills will now be paperless.

If your child is under 18 and you are the registered guarantor for their account, you will receive the statement. Anyone 18 and over will be sent their statements directly. Any individual who has been given proxy will be able to view statements via MyChart.

You will receive an email and/or text notification dependent upon which notifications you have turned on indicating that your statement is ready to be viewed along with a “Pay Now” button that links you to the MyChart login page.

If you opted in for notifications and haven’t received one yet, check your notification settings by logging in to web-based MyChart (cannot change notification from app). Click on the “Profile” icon. Under “Preferences & Info”, click on “Communications”. From there, click on “Billing” menu and then click on the envelope icon to turn on email notifications. Additionally, verify the correct email is on file for all guarantor(s).
